Radar Images Long-range base reflectivity from around the Gulf of Mexico continue to pick up the outer bands of Hurricane Ike. As Ike gets closer to Houston the eyewall will become visible again. If Hurricane Ike makes landfall along Galveston Island, the ABC 13 radar will show it in high definition. The wunderground radar loop of Hurricane Ike shows it moving to the west-northwest.
